DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP ProLiant DL585 Server, which
can be exploited by malicious people to gain unauthorised access to
the server controls.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the
Integrated Lights-Out (ILO) firmware making it possible to access the
server controls when powering down.
The vulnerability affects HP ProLiant DL585 Integrated Lights Out
(ILO) firmware prior to version 1.81.
SOLUTION:
The vulnerability will be fixed in the upcoming version 1.81.
Until this version is available, the vendor recommends unplugging the
power cord whenever the server is powered down.
