DESCRIPTION:
1dt.w0lf and foster have reported some vulnerabilities in Forum
Russian Board, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting, script insertion and SQL injection attacks.
1) Certain input passed to some scripts is not properly sanitised
before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate
SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Certain input passed to some scripts is not properly sanitised
before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
3) Input passed via the "[img]" BB code tag is not properly verified
before being used. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary script
code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when
the malicious data is viewed.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 4.2. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
