DESCRIPTION:
Mati Aharoni has reported a vulnerability in GlobalScape Secure FTP
Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a
vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
FTP commands and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer
overflow via an overly long FTP command (more than 2043 bytes).

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.0.2. Prior versions
may also be affected.

NOTE: Exploits are publicly available.

SOLUTION:
A fix is reportedly available.
