DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in pfSense, which can be exploited
by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed via the username during the XAuth user authentication
phase is not properly sanitised before being used when displaying
IPSec logs. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script
code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of
an affected site if malicious data is viewed.

Successful exploitation requires a successfully completed IPSec Phase
1 and Phase 2 based on the schemes "Mutual RSA", "Mutual PSK", or
"Hybrid RSA".

The vulnerability is reported in version 2.0.1. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the repository.
