DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Proficy HMI/SCADA - CIMPLICITY,
which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an integer overflow error within
the web server (CimWebServer.exe) when handling certain HTTP data and
can be exploited to crash the web server.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 8.0 and later.

SOLUTION:
Apply patches (please see vendor's advisory for details).
