DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Liferay Portal, which can
be exploited by malicious users to manipulate certain data and by
malicious people to disclose certain sensitive information.
1) An error within the KB plugin does not properly validate the file
names and can be exploited to delete arbitrary files.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires permissions to
delete an attachment in the Knowledge Base portlet.
2) An unspecified error can be exploited to view the source code of
any journal structure or template on the site.
3) An error exists within the document and media portlet when
checking for user permissions and can be exploited to create
arbitrary folders and files in the root folder.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 6.1 CE GA2 (6.1.1).
SOLUTION:
Apply patch 6.1.1-ce-ga2-security-2.0.zip
