DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in the User Read-Only module in
Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain
security restrictions.
The security issue is caused due the application incorrect assigning
roles when performing certain operations e.g. changing password and
can be exploited to e.g. become an administrator.
Successful exploitation of the security issue requires certain
unspecified configuration settings and that more than 3 roles are
available.
The security issue is reported in 6.x-1.x versions prior to 6.x-1.4
and 7.x-1.x versions prior to 7.x-1.4.
SOLUTION:
Update to a fixed version.
