DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Emergency Responder, which
can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The vulnerability is cause due to an error when processing UDP
traffic and can be exploited to exhaust CPU resources by sending
specially crafted UDP datagrams to the CERPT port.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 8.7.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 8.7.
