DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in OpenStack Keystone,
which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security
restrictions.

1) An error exists within the token expiration mechanism when
requesting a new token, which carries over the expiration time to the
new token and can be exploited to extend the expiration time.

2) An error within the token expiration mechanism does not
invalidate tokens of disabled users, which can be exploited to gain
access to disabled user accounts.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 2012.1.1.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 2012.1.1 or later.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Derek Higgins, Red Hat.
