DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in the Artiss Code Embed plugin for
WordPress, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the "suffix" parameter to wp-admin/admin.php (when
"page" is set to "ace-search") is not properly sanitised in
wp-content/plugins/simple-embed-code/includes/ace-search.php before
being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.0.2.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.0.2.
