DESCRIPTION:
High-Tech Bridge SA has reported a vulnerability in Serendipity,
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection
attacks.
Certain input is not properly sanitised in
include/functions_trackbacks.inc.php before being used in an SQL
query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting
arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is
disabled.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.6.2.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.6.2.
