DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in the vBShout module for
vBulletin, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "message" parameter in vbshout.php (when "do" is
set to "archive" and "instanceid" is valid) is not properly sanitised
before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.

This vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 6.0.7.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 6.0.7.
