DESCRIPTION:
Sense of Security has reported a security issue and a vulnerability
in Snom VoIP Phone Firmware, which can be exploited by malicious
people to bypass certain security restrictions and conduct cross-site
request forgery attacks.
1) The security issue is caused due to an error when handling
password resets.
For more information:
SA48048
2) The web interface allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP
requests without performing proper validity checks to verify the
requests. This can be exploited to e.g. reset a password when a
logged-in user visits a specially crafted web page.
SOLUTION:
Upgrade to version 8.4.35.
