DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows Phone, which
can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the processing of
messages. This can be exploited to trigger a reboot and render the
messaging functionality unusable by sending a specially crafted text
message via SMS, Facebook chat, or Windows Live.
The vulnerability is reported in version 7.5. Other versions may also
be affected.
SOLUTION:
Currently there is no known workaround. Microsoft has identified the
root cause of the issue, and has a fix that is currently in the
testing process.
