DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM WebSphere Service Registry
and Repository, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
script insertion attacks.
Input passed via the "User-Agent" HTTP header to agentDetect.jsp is
not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to
insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a
user's browser session in context of an affected site when the
malicious data is being viewed.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 6.3.0.5, 7.0.0.5,
and 7.5.0.1.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 6.3.0.5 or later, 7.0.0.5 or later, or 7.5.0.1 or
later.
