DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in libsoup, which can be exploited
by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error within
the SoupServer feature when handling certain HTTP requests, which can
be exploited to disclose the content of arbitrary files outside the
root directory via directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.34.3 and
2.35.4.
SOLUTION:
Update to versions 2.34.3 or 2.35.4.
