Stunnel can allow you to secure non-SSL aware daemons and protocols (like POP, IMAP, NNTP, LDAP, etc) by having Stunnel provide the encryption, requiring no changes to the daemon's code.; Changes: Server Name Indication (SNI) TLS extension support was implemented for name-based virtual servers. Stunnel can now switch service section on the fly, based on the destination host name included in the Client Hello message.
