DESCRIPTION:
Keith Lee has reported a vulnerability in ManageEngine ServiceDesk
Plus, which can be exploited by malicious users to disclose sensitive
information.
Input passed via the "FILENAME" parameter to
workorder/FileDownload.jsp (when "module" is set to "agent") is not
properly verified before before being used to display files. This can
be exploited to disclose the contents of arbitrary files from local
resources via directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability is reported in version 8.0. Other versions may also
be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 8.0 build 8012.
