DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability and a security issue have been discovered in MidiCMS
Website Builder, which can be exploited by malicious people to
conduct cross-site request forgery and bypass certain security
restrictions.
1) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP
requests without performing any validity checks to verify the
requests. This can be exploited to e.g. delete pages if a logged-in
administrative user visits a malicious web site.
2) The security issue is caused due the application allowing access
to the admin/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/ezfilemanager/index.php script
without verifying credentials. This can be exploited to upload files
with certain extensions (e.g. ZIP and HTML).
SOLUTION:
Do not browse untrusted sites or follow untrusted links while being
logged-in to the application. Restrict access to the
"admin/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/ezfilemanager" directory (e.g. via
".htaccess").
