DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in VisiWave Site Survey, which can
be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing
report files (".vwr") and can be exploited to cause a stack-based
buffer overflow via a specially crafted file.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but
requires tricking a user into opening a malicious report file.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.1.9.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.1.9.
