DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in the powermail extension for
TYPO3, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL
injection attacks.
Certain unspecified input is not properly sanitised before being used
in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by
injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires editor permissions and access to the
powermail administration module.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 1.6.0, 1.6.1, and 1.6.2.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.6.3.
