DESCRIPTION:
A security issue and a vulnerability have been reported in VMware
vCenter Server and VirtualCenter, which can be exploited by
malicious, local users and malicious people to disclose sensitive
information.

1) A security issue exists due to a certain log file insecurely
storing a SOAP session ID and can be exploited to disclose the ID of
an administrative user.

This vulnerability does not affect VirtualCenter running on Windows.

2) An input validation error within an unspecified component can be
exploited to disclose arbitrary files via directory traversal
attacks.

This vulnerability does not affect installations running on Windows
2008 or Windows 2008 R2.
