DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in EMC NetWorker, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the RPC library
(librpc.dll) within the "nsrexecd" daemon when performing access
control for service commands. This can be exploited to bypass some
access restrictions and execute certain service commands (e.g.
unregister or register RPC services) via spoofed UDP packets.

The vulnerability is reported in the following products:
* EMC NetWorker versions prior to 7.5.3.5.
* EMC NetWorker versions prior to 7.6.1.2.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 7.5.3.5, 7.5 SP4 or later, and 7.6.1.2 or later.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
