DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in Chipmunk Pwngame,
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection
attacks.
1) Input passed via the "username" POST parameter to authenticate.php
is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can
be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL
code.
This can further be exploited to bypass the log-in mechanism.
2) Input passed via the "ID" parameter to pwn.php is not properly
sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
NOTE: Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is
disabled.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
