DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in BaconMap, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and
compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Input passed via the "type" parameter to doadd.php (when "name" is
set) is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This
can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL
code.
2) Input passed via the "filepath" parameter to updatelist.php is not
properly verified before being used to read files. This can be
exploited to e.g. read file contents or inject and execute arbitrary
PHP code.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and
verified.
