DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in 3Com H3C 3100 and 3600 Series
switches, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing DHCP
packets and can be exploited to cause a device to reboot via a
specially crafted BOOTP or DHCP packet without the "Discover" (53)
option.
Successful exploitation requires DHCP snooping to be enabled.
The vulnerability is reported in the following products:
