DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Seagull PHP Framework, which
can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection
attacks.
Input passed via the "frmQuestion" parameter to
index.php/user/password (when "action" is set to "retrieve") is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries in the
"_cmd_retrieve()" function in modules/user/classes/PasswordMgr.php.
This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting
arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.6.7. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
