DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in APLHA Ethernet Adapter II, which
can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error, which can be
exploited to access the device's web administration interface without
proper authentication.
The vulnerability is reported in version 3.40.2. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict network access using a proxy or firewall.
