DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM Communications Server for
AIX, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing APPC
(Advanced Program-to-Program Communications) packets. This can be
exploited to crash an affected server via a specially crafted APPC
packet defining a GDSID variable with an overly small length.
SOLUTION:
Apply fileset sna.rte version 6.3.1.2.
