DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in INVOhost, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "id" parameter in site.php is not properly
sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed to the "search" parameter in manuals.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of vulnerability #2 requires that
"magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
NOTE: Other scripts and parameters may also be affected.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 3.4. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a proxy.
