DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in the SEIL B1 router, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to the CHAP and MS-CHAP-V2
authentication processes within the PPP Access Concentrator reusing
the same challenge for each authentication request. This can be
exploited to gain access to the network by replaying the
challenge-response sequences.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 1.00 to 2.52.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.60.
