DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in FreeRADIUS, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error and can be
exploited to crash the "radiusd" daemon.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1.7. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
According to the vendor, version 1.1.x releases are no longer
actively maintained though security issues will be addressed.
Users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest 2.x release.
