DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in GnuTLS, which can be exploited
by malicious people to conduct spoofing attacks.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when parsing X.509 CN and
SAN fields containing NUL ('\0') characters. This can be exploited to

sessions via specially crafted X.509 certificates.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.8.2.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository.
