TITLE:
Hutscripts PHP Website Script Cross-Site Scripting and SQL Injection

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA35893

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/35893/

DESCRIPTION:
599eme Man has reported some vulnerabilities in Hutscripts PHP
Website Script, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct
cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed via the "msg" parameter to index.php,
lostpassword.php, and feedback.php is not properly sanitised before
being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.

2) Input passed via the "cid" parameter to showcategory.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
