http://secunia.com/advisories/35675/
DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in KVM, which can be exploited by
malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the
"kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl_set_sregs()" function. This can be exploited to
trigger a NULL-pointer dereference and potentially crash an affected
system by setting the CR3 register to an invalid value via a
specially crafted "KVM_SET_SREGS" call.
The vulnerability is reported in version kvm-84. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict local access to trusted users only.
