TITLE:
Podcast Generator Multiple Vulnerabilities

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA35333

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/35333/

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Podcast Generator, which
can be exploited by malicious people to delete arbitrary files and
compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed via the "GLOBALS[absoluteurl]" parameter to various
pages (e.g. core/archive_cat.php, core/admin/itunescategories.php,
and core/admin/login.php) is not properly verified before being used
to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files
from local or external resources.

2) Input passed to the "GLOBALS[theme_path]" parameter in
core/themes.php is not properly verified before being used to include
files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or
external resources.

3) Input passed to the "file" and "ext" parameters in
core/admin/delete.php is not properly verified before being used to
delete files, which can be exploited to delete arbitrary files.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.2. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
