TITLE:
Rapidleech File Inclusion and Cross-Site Scripting

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA34300

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/34300/

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Rapidleech, which can be
exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information,
conduct cross-site scripting attacks, or compromise a vulnerable
system.

1) Input passed to the "uploaded" parameter in upload.php (when
"filename" is set to a base64 encoded path of an existing, readable
file) is not properly verified before being used to include files.
This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources
via directory traversal attacks and URL-encoded NULL bytes.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow execution of
arbitrary PHP code.

2) Input passed to the "uploaded" parameter in upload.php is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in the context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in revision 36. Other revisions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Grant only trusted users access to the application. Edit the source
code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
