DESCRIPTION:
Steve Kemp has reported a security issue in hf, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The security issue is caused due to the hfkernel application
executing "killall" in an insecure manner when processing the "-k"
command line argument, which can be exploited to execute arbitrary
commands with root privileges.
The security issue is reported in version 0.8. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict local access to trusted users only.
