DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in the Linux Kernel, which can be
exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when running a 31-bit
ptrace, which can be exploited to cause a kernel panic.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.6.27-rc6 for the
s390 architecture.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in 2.6.27-rc6.
