DESCRIPTION:
Blue Coat has acknowledged a vulnerability in Blue Coat PacketShaper
and iShaper, which can be exploited by malicious people to poison the
DNS cache.
The vulnerability is caused due to the products not sufficiently
randomising the DNS transaction ID and the source port number, which
can be exploited to poison the DNS cache.
SOLUTION:
Reportedly, this will be fixed in upcoming versions.
PacketShaper:
Versions 8.3.2 and 8.4.0.
iShaper:
Version 8.3.2 (in-line plane).
