TITLE:
IGSuite "formid" SQL Injection Vulnerability

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA30756

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/30756/

CRITICAL:
Highly critical

IMPACT:
Manipulation of data, System access

WHERE:
>From remote

SOFTWARE:
IGSuite 3.x
http://secunia.com/product/19137/

DESCRIPTION:
k`sOSe has discovered a vulnerability in IGSuite, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and
compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed via the "formid" parameter to cgi-bin/igsuite is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation allows obtaining valid administrator
credentials and uploading an arbitrary PHP script to the web root,
which can be later executed to compromise an affected system.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.2.4. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Perform an update by running the "igsuited" script (placed in the
"cgi-bin" directory) with the "--update-igsuite" option.
