DESCRIPTION:
Chris Evans has reported some vulnerabilities in PCRE, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or
potentially compromise an application using the library.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to integer overflow errors when
parsing regular expressions and can be exploited to e.g. cause a
crash or a buffer overflow via specially crafted regular expressions.
SOLUTION:
The vulnerabilities are reportedly fixed in version 6.7.
