DESCRIPTION:
Silentz has discovered some vulnerabilities in TutorialCMS, which can
be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "catFile" parameter in browseCat.php, to the "id"
parameter in openTutorial.php, topFrame.php, and admin/editListing.php
(administrative access required), and to the "search" parameter in
search.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL
queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting
arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation allows e.g. disclosure of the administrative
username and password hash, but requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is
disabled.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.00. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
