DESCRIPTION:
Shawn Merdinger has reported a vulnerability in the Linksys SPA921
VoIP Phone, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS
(Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to errors within the embedded HTTP
server when handling long strings. This can be exploited to reboot
the phone by sending long HTTP requests to it.

The vulnerability has been reported in firmware version 1.0.0. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict use to within trusted networks only.
