DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Mono, which can be exploited by
malicious, local users to perform certain actions with escalated
privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to the way the
"System.CodeDom.Compiler" classes use temporary files. This can be
exploited via symlink attacks to create or overwrite arbitrary files
with the privileges of the user running the application and
potentially allows to inject arbitrary code into the running mono
processes.

SOLUTION:
Grant only trusted users access to affected systems.
