DESCRIPTION:
Tan Chew Keong has reported a vulnerability in TurboZIP, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to boundary errors in dzip32.dll when
repairing archives. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based
buffer overflow when a user attempts to repair a malicious ZIP
archive containing a file with an overly long filename (more than
2048 bytes).

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 6.0 Build 002021004
(dzip32.dll version 5.0.0.4). Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to the latest version of TurboZIP 6.0.
