DESCRIPTION:
Mustafa Can Bjorn has reported some vulnerabilities in F@cile
Interactive Web, which can be exploited by malicious people to
conduct cross-site scripting attacks, disclose sensitive information,
and compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Input passed to the "l" parameter in p-popupgallery.php is not
properly verified before being used to include files. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by including files from local
or external resources.
2) Input passed to the "pathfile" parameter in p-editpage.php and
p-editbox.php is not properly verified before being used to include
files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local
resources.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is
disabled.
3) Input passed to the "mytheme" and "myskin" parameter in
p-themes/puzzle/index.inc.php is not properly sanitised before being
returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML
and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 0.8.5. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and
verified.
