DESCRIPTION:
Sebastian Krahmer has reported a vulnerability in Log4net, which can
be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in
LocalSyslogAppender. This can be exploited to cause memory corruption
in an application that uses LocalSyslogAppender and may cause the
application to crash.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.2.9. Prior versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
The vulnerability has been fixed in version 1.2.10 in the CVS
repositories.
