DESCRIPTION:
Steve Kemp has reported a vulnerability in Petris, which potentially

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling
of environment variables when processing highscores. This can be
exploited to cause a buffer overflow.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code with
escalated privileges on systems, where the game has been installed
setuid or setgid (typically setgid "games").
SOLUTION:
Remove any setuid / setgid bits.
Games should not be installed on production systems.
