DESCRIPTION:
r0t has discovered a vulnerability in kPlaylist, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed to the "searchfor" parameter when performing a search
isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can
be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.6 build 411 and has
also been reported in version 1.6 build 400. Other versions may also
be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
